The Hill County County Department of Corrections, through the Sheriff of Hill County County, operates the Hill County Jail in Havre, Havre, Montana. Hill County Jail is one of the largest single-site county correctional facilities in the United States, holding up to 5,000 inmates daily and admitting up 81,000 pre-trial detainees each year. Hill County Jail sits on a 87-acre land with 12 divisions, 3 onsite Sheriff’s departments, a health services facility, 4 education departments, a dayroom, and privatized food service and Hill County Jail commissary.
