The Mora County County Department of Corrections, through the Sheriff of Mora County County, operates the Mora County Jail in Mora, Mora, New Mexico. Mora County Jail is one of the largest single-site county correctional facilities in the United States, holding up to 8,000 inmates daily and admitting up 87,000 pre-trial detainees each year.
