The Le Flore County County Department of Corrections, through the Sheriff of Le Flore County County, operates the Leflore County Jail in Poteau, Poteau, Oklahoma. Leflore County Jail is one of the largest single-site county correctional facilities in the United States, holding up to 9,000 inmates daily and admitting up 92,000 pre-trial detainees each year.
