Snowmobile Safety

We provide V.A.S.T. trail patrols looking for violations that include speed, no registration, no insurance, no V.A.S.T. validation, helmet and youth snowmobile safety certificates. 

Scheduled Snow Mobile Safety Class is set for the 19th and 20th of January 2013.

Bicycle Helmet and Safety

Bicycle Safety & Helmet Giveaway Day - First Saturday in May 2013.  This was another very fun and successful day.  We gave out 100 helmets and interacted with young and old alike.  The VERMONT SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION Provided funds to make this event possible. Our honorary Vt Sheriff Assoc. members make this possible because of their membership. Thank You All!!   
Next years event will be at Lyndonville's Bandstand Park...first Saturday in May, 2014
No registration needed.

Car Seat

Child seat safety inspections are conducted every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.  Please call for a time, or for another time that the inspectors might be available.

Child seat technicians for the Caledonia County Sheriff's Department is Deputy James Hemond.
