The Green County County Department of Corrections, through the Sheriff of Green County County, operates the Green County Jail in Monroe, Monroe, Wisconsin. Green County Jail is one of the largest single-site county correctional facilities in the United States, holding up to 6,000 inmates daily and admitting up 107,000 pre-trial detainees each year.
