The McLean County County Department of Corrections, through the Sheriff of McLean County County, operates the McLean County Jail in Washburn, Washburn, North Dakota. McLean County Jail is one of the largest single-site county correctional facilities in the United States, holding up to 7,000 inmates daily and admitting up 108,000 pre-trial detainees each year.
